Re: 3471 Cottonwood Cir Homeowner submitted a detached garage to go with his plan from last meeting Siding of the garage needs to match the siding of the house, including the stone facia. The garage should have at least one window on each of the long walls, but the committee feels two would be better. 3. 3465 (pending purchase) Cottonwood Cir Potential lot buyer has submitted plans for a 1600 sq ft home with attached 4+ car garage. The original plans had improper roof pitch, which has been changed to 6/12. The original design has an office on the main floor. A closet has been added to make it a bedroom. The submitter has suggested making the 4 car garage into a 3 front door with a double deep. Discussion ensued and the submitter will submit a new drawing from the discussion. Denied Suggestions: a. three car garage face with last stall double deep b. more windows c. pop out for fire place d. the garage setback must meet Frederick code (see section 3.17) e. raise the pitch over the office/LR to change the roof line f. include plot plan for house position on lot, per design guideline 4.1 g. include exterior detail drawing showing materials and relief details, per design guideline 3.5 h. include roofing material and colors i. include color info and samples for siding and trim j. review walkout basement section 3.14 k. verify deck height meets guidelines 4. the next meeting is the first Wednesday of December, at 8:00
